Miter and Bevel was born out of passion, hard work, and a desire to create something unique.
My journey began at vocational school, where I first discovered the art of carpentry. Afterward,
I worked for a smaller carpentry company on the South Coast of Massachusetts, alongside skilled craftsmen who were transforming beautiful homes. This experience laid the foundation for my carpentry skills and ignited my love for custom finishes.
The name "Miter and Bevel" is an homage to the art of carpentry itself – representing the precision and care that goes into every cut, every angle, and every finished product.
As time went on, I began picking up my own jobs, which organically grew into a business of its own. Although I briefly ventured into a different career, my business continued to thrive. When my son was born, I realized I wanted to be more present at home while still pursuing my passion. That's when the idea of starting my own business became a reality.
Leaving the stability of a known path to start something from scratch took courage, but it was that drive to build something meaningful that set me apart. I take great pride in the business I've built, knowing that each project is a reflection of my dedication and craftsmanship.
